We’re looking for several good Painters & Handymen for full-time (or part-time) work through Nov/Dec (with possibility of working through the winter months too.) We service the Sebago Lake area & southern Maine region. Hours are 7am-3:30pm Mon-Fri with major Holidays off. (Some Saturdays/wkends are required on certain Projects.) We typically work on Residential & Small Businesses, both Interior & Exterior Projects. (Painting, Staining, Brush, Roll, Spray, & Pressure Washing.) Experience is preferred, but we’re willing to train the right people. Must be willing to work on ladders/heights & lift up to 75lbs. (Own Tools a plus.) Must be 18+, a US Resident, (or prove you’re able to Legally work in the US.) Must have a valid Driver’s License, have transportation, & be punctual/reliable. Must have (or get) your own sub-contractor General Liability Insurance (costs approx $15/wk.) Must also have good References & pass a Background Ck. -No active Junkies, Drunks, or Thieves please! (IE An OUI from 10 yrs ago, is OK. A recent Drug Charge or Theft, not OK. We have a great reputation to uphold & we work in high-end homes with valuables, so pls understand it’s biz, not personal re: background cks/refs so no exceptions.) We’re a family-run Small Business that’s BBB Accredited. We’re good hardworking people that run an honest Biz, so we’re looking for trustworthy reliable people to assist us. We’re able to offer between $11-14/hour DOE to start, with possible rate increase after 60 days. We are unable to offer any INS or PTO at this time. (*You’ll be considered an Independent Contractor with us, thus you’ll responsible for your own withholdings/taxes/1099 etc.) However, we occasionally reward Productivity Bonuses on certain Projects.
